I realize it is Thursday and not one of the regular posting days but I decided to do a little post properly introducing myself. First of all, my name is Preeti for my family and Indian friends and Pat for everyone who can't pronounce the other name. Like the main character in the story I am a (almost) 20 yr old college student. I say almost because my 20th birthday is on Monday (Nov. 9th.) so technically I'm still 19. I go to an awesome university in a really hippie, and very green obsessed city. I was born in India actually but have lived here in the US most of my life. I have been told that I'm a very "Americanized" Indian girl which I don't necessarily thing is a bad thing. I am currently majoring in Political Science with a minor in Literature. And that’s about all I can think of to write. If you guys have any other questions or have something you would like me to write about, let me know and I will try.

My moms side of the family is all from England and I was born there and they say the same thing to me and my sister. What are you planning on doing w/ your poli sci major? I know I'm going to law school but I think that's what every poli sci major does

I'm finishing up the last semester of the 2nd yr so I have another 2 yrs left till I'm done with my undergrad. And thanks for the link. thats really nice. Hi. Is Preeti a common Indian name? I actually know of two other Indian ladies named Preeti, and now you, and I don't know many Indian people at all! mum
ReplyDeleteSo, I know this was posted awhile ago, but I just decided to check out your blog today (I started reading the Bedroom Blog a LONG time ago, but only recently have started reading other fictional blogs) Anyways - my question - do you happen to actually live somewhere in Oregon? I say this in part because you mentioned a football game against USC in the halloween post, and I was AT that football game (I live in Portland), and then you also said something about living in a very hippie city, so it fit. Forgive me if I am overstepping anything, I was just excited to find a fictional blog written by someone who might live near me!
